Sofia loves finding the beauty in the most unlikely places. They are excited by work that finds depth in places where we don’t often look for it. They especially love pieces that explore the kinds of topics that we shy away from in everyday life because they are uncomfortable to talk about. Ultimately, Sofia seeks to find the universality in specific experiences.

They are also a huge fan of anything classical, especially Shakespeare. Sofia has long been fascinated by the way pieces written so long ago still deeply resonate with today’s audiences. They are also very interested in how marginalized communities can see themselves in these stories that have historically been associated with oppressive and exclusive groups.

Outside of the rehearsal room, Sofia loves reading, playing guitar, and trying to keep their cat from eating hair ties!
